I’ve lived in a number of states around the US with my parents, while my father was on active duty in the Air Force. I now live in Baton Rouge, not far from New Orleans, Louisiana. I’ve enjoyed deer hunting since the young age of 10 years old. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild 38 years. I always think the deer season isn’t long enough, impatiently wait for the next hunt and can’t wait for the next hunting season to start – (hyper deer mania) is how you might diagnose it. Ham radio has been an enthusiasm of mind for over 20 years now. This has enabled me to dive of into electronics and enjoy my Extra Class amateur radio license at the same time. It’s fascinating to talk to people all around the globe but also equally interesting are how radio waves travel. I talk on one end of the radio transmitter and the radio waves travel around the earth silently. Then the person on the other end of the radio receiver understands my conversation just like we were sitting beside each other. This is exactly how digital cameras work in the world of wireless technology and long range wireless cameras. I am transmitting digital deer pictures from the hunting cameras through the air wirelessly and quietly to the deer cameras base. There isn’t any noise or distractions and I am staying out of my hunting area except only to deer hunt. Best of all – the deer do not know it is there. I became hooked, on the idea after totally blowing three perfect prime opportunities at three different big whitetail bucks. I was made by one big buck as he bolted away, after crossing the path I had taken 1 hour earlier to get my deer pictures from my deer camera. The second whitetail buck stomped and blew causing the woods to sound like they were fixing to explode. The big bucks nose picked up my sent, as I was heading into hunt my deer stands. Third - I’ve only gotten a couple glimpses of a big deer I have been hunting for 2 years now. The big deer occasionally sighted “chasing does” as the deer were feeding underneath huge White Oak trees. Unfortunately all I could catch was bits and pieces of the big bodied deer. I’ve since then been extremely please with my deer hunts and have experience extraordinary deer hunting by simply implementing wireless technology into my whitetail deer hunting. My deer scouting has been tons easier... without any foot work involved... and produces “greater deer scouting results” and “precise hunting strategies”. This means, I save an enormous amount of time deer scouting. Just by letting the digital hunting cameras do all the work for me via wireless transmitter and wireless receiver.
